The Path to True Freedom: What It Really Takes
Hello Awakening Souls,
We chase freedom like it’s a finish line:
✅ Make more money
✅ Buy the dream home
✅ Build the “perfect” business
✅ Find the right partner
✅ Achieve that elusive balance
But if you're anything like me, you hit all the milestones…
…and still found yourself wondering:
Why do I feel stuck, drained, and disconnected?
We live in a culture that celebrates external success. But true freedom?
It starts inside.
And it requires more than just mindset.
It requires soul-set. Nervous system safety. Radical self-responsibility.
It asks us to untangle our worth from what we do, what we produce, and who approves.
This is the real work of becoming free.
🌿 So… What Does True Freedom Really Take?
Here’s what I’ve learned. It’s not a checklist.
It’s a way of being.
It’s a path of remembering. And it unfolds in five powerful shifts:
1. Radical Ownership
This one is hard. I used to say, “I’m doing everything right—why isn’t it working?”
The truth? I was outsourcing my power.
Radical ownership means recognizing that your triggers are your teachers.
It doesn’t mean blaming yourself—it means reclaiming your power to shift.
The year my marriage ended, I was forced to stop looking outward and start looking in. That experience taught me something I now live by:
True freedom means having the courage to face what’s hard—head on.
As Dr. Joe Dispenza teaches, “Your personality creates your personal reality.” So if nothing changes… nothing changes.
2. Nervous System Safety
You can’t expand into the life you want while your body believes it’s still under threat.
The nervous system doesn’t care about your vision board—it cares about what feels safe.
And most of us are unconsciously wired for survival, not peace.
Healing my nervous system changed everything.
Learning to pause. Breathe. Come back home to my body.
This is where somatic work, breathwork, and slowing down come in. Stillness isn't doing nothing—it’s doing the deepest work of all.
3. Self-Trust Over Strategy
I used to chase the “right” formula.
The perfect strategy. The 10-step plan.
But your power isn’t in a template—it’s in your truth.
The more I trusted my inner knowing, the more everything aligned.
Not because it was easy… but because it was real.
Like Michael A. Singer writes in The Untethered Soul,
“There’s nothing more important to true growth than realizing you are not the voice of the mind—you are the one who hears it.”
You already know. You just forgot how to listen.
Self-trust is the bridge.
4. Boundaries That Begin Within
Freedom means being free to be you. And that starts with boundaries.
Not just the kind that say no to others—but the kind that say yes to your truth.
You can’t stay in integrity with yourself while bending to meet everyone else's needs.
Your boundaries aren’t a wall—they’re a homecoming.
Every time you choose your truth over people-pleasing, you return to your power.
5. Sovereignty, Not Perfection
Sovereignty doesn’t mean doing it all alone.
It means you are the authority of your life.
You’re not pushed or pulled by outside approval.
Not ruled by past trauma or fear of the future.
You lead yourself with presence. With courage. With compassion.
This is the essence of freedom:
To be fully you—without apology, without performance, without delay.
🔥 The Truth About Freedom?
It doesn’t come wrapped in ease.
It’s not instant. And it’s not passive.
It asks everything of you. And gives you everything in return.
Not more noise.
Not more doing.
Just you—fully expressed, deeply grounded, wildly free.
